We were up early this morning… the crazy 5 hour sale was on from 9.00am – 2.00pm where many of the shops in Gisborne have great bargains.
JMK and I headed to the Toy Shop first… it was mayhem but we managed to get two little babies that JMK would be able to play with in the bath.
After that it was off to the Cordial Factory (local clothes shop) where there was a 3 for $20 box! BARGAIN!! We got JMK two pairs of summer pants and a gorgeous denim skirt. We also got her a cute pair of skorts and a t shirt to match.
Once the shopping was done we headed over to the park to join in the Worlds Greatest Pram stroll. Apart from the stroll through the park there was lots to see and do. There was a Police Helicopter which JMK wasn’t too sure about when it took off, but she soon got use to the noise and gave the pilots a good ole wave.

We had a bit of lunch, inclusive of a yummy icy pole and a wander around.

I tried to get JMK to sit on the police motorbike but of course she wouldn’t have a bar of it!! She's now sound asleep after a very busy morning.

Sounds like you had a wonderful day. Was only thinking the other day whether there is something on up this way soon with Fire Engines, Zach loves them...
