Boy was it HOT!! Good thing the Blairgowrie front beach is about a 5 minute walk from the house which gave us all a chance to cool off when it got a little too hot to handle.
JMK & CJK were pretty good considering it was so hot and Auntie Mitzi's house has no air conditioning... they slept really well and pretty much behaved themselves.
We left Blairgowrie on New Year's Day, jumped on the ferry to Queenscliff for something different and for a change of scenery on our drive home. We popped in to see Uncle Mick, Untie Prue & Baby Angus and then headed over to Nana & Poppy's house.
Timing was impeccable... we got to Nana & Poppy's place just before dinner time!! While the chops were defrosting JMK got behind the wheel of Poppy's new golf cart and took it for a spin around the backyard... she had a great time.
We finally headed home from our holiday after being fed and we were all fast asleep as soon as our heads hit our pillows!!
