Cooper's Christening - Sunday 27th April 2008...

We were so worried about the weather... all week it looked like it was going to be a shocker of a day! Granted, it was cold but at least the rain held off!

CJK was an absolute gem in the church! He was busy checking it all out and giving smiles left, right and centre. He didn't mind having the water dribbled over his forehead and he didn't complain about being held in the one spot for too long. Mum on the other hand ended up with a numb arm so passed CJK over to Uncle Mick. Uncle Mick & Auntie Prue are CJK's godparents and they did a great job too.

Once the ceremony was over it was back to our house for some afternoon tea. Thank goodness the rain held off as it meant all the kids were able to play outside rather than being cooped up inside. With 35 adults and god knows how many kids that might have been a little hair raising. The kids were great though, there was no carnage, fights or blood loss so that's a positive for the day!
