Oma, Opa and Angus came over on Saturday to visit for Rob's birthday. Uncle Mick & Auntie Prue were off for a weekend of skiing so Angus was staying with Oma & Opa.
Angus & CJK had a ball playing together, they got into all sorts of mischief. What started as little splashes in a big puddle turned out to be BIG splashes in a puddle made for two little boys. They got DRENCHED and loved every minute of it. You could hear them walking around with their gumboots squelching, they had leaves and bark and mud all over them! The giggles and shrieks of excitement were definitely worth the clean up.

After the boys had been showered, not only to thaw them out but to get them clean, we sat down for dinner and then birthday cake.
JMK helped her daddy with blowing out the candles.
Angus was meant to stay for a sleep over, apparently he'd been banging on about it to Uncle Mick & Auntie Prue alllllll week, but when push came to shove he decided he didn't want to stay. He wanted to go home with Oma, Opa & JMK. Thank goodness CJK was already in bed when Angus decided this because he was shattered when he woke up the next morning. There were tears and wails of "now I have no one to play with".
I felt awful for poor ole CJK so Rob, CJK and I headed down the street for brekkie where a cupcake and chocolate milkshake fixed everything!!

Would have loved to see Rob in the puddle too!!! Happy Birthday Robert James!
I want to be a kid again and jump in puddles rather than be the one cleaning uo afterwards!Happy birthday Rob!
