Busy Weekend... 20-21 April, 2013

We were up early Saturday morning, no sleep-ins any more because it was CJK's first day of Auskick!!  He was very excited and all decked out in his Collingwood gear.

We arrived at Sankey Reserve and kicked the ball around for a little bit before all the coaches turned up.  CJK spotted a stack of friends so was keen to get started.

After Auskick we headed to the Netball courts for JMK to play her 4th game of netball.  The girls played well and given the Under 9's don't score we'll just leave it at that... (coz in actual fact we lost 8 to 1!!)

From the netball courts JMK and I headed to Nana's so we could give her her birthday present.  Bree was there too so it was nice for all the chicks to catch up!

Nana has some friends that like to visit a couple of times a day and JMK has taken to them too!  A family of magpies arrive in the backyard and peck on the glass sliding door for food.  JMK jumped every time to get the mince out of the fridge and hand feed them.  There's a mum, a dad and two babies... very cute!

JMK also helped Nana in the veggie patch.  The tomato plants were starting to die off so Poppy was going to rip them out... but not before they'd picked all the tomatoes off!!

We headed home on Sunday morning after having a lovely time at Nana's.  I'm still looking forward to a sleep in but can't see one coming my way for a little while!!
