Clever Kids... 03.05.13

Well yesterday was a day full of achievements for the Kristitz Kids!!

The Grade 3's & 4's had their athletics trials down at Dixon Field.  It was a cold and windy day but JMK came up trumps!  Originally she wasn't interested in doing any athletics events but earlier in the week she decided she'd like to give the 100m, 200m and long jump a go!

WELL... check this out!!

FIRST PLACE for 100m

JMK then went on to come 2nd in the 200m and did a great job at the long jump with a 2m jump!!  Quite the little athlete.

At the end of the day it was assembly time and lo & behold JMK was presented with an award for her week at school.  It was for "always doing her best in everything she does"... I was very impressed and extremely proud of her.

Two athletic ribbons AND a weekly award!!

I sat there listening to the children's names getting called out for their wonderful achievements when COOPER KRISTITZ was called.  He was extremely shy and pretty much had his back turned to the assembly, he was definitely out of his comfort zone... very funny!  CJK's award was for "being a great teacher to his Prep B friends and showing them different words around the room".

One positively pumped and very proud parent here!!
