Then, on Saturday December 20th we went to pick up the newest member of our family... Samson.
He has settled in so well, no crying or howling at night and minimal accidents in the garage - which makes Rob VERY happy.

Christmas Eve was spent with Opapa, Oma, Opa, Auntie Prue, Uncle Mick & Angus and as always we had a lovely time with the family. Of course, both Jorja and Cooper were spoilt beyond belief... but I guess it is Christmas and that's what happens!

Cooper was in tears wanting his bike back and Rob & I were a little perplexed about how it could have possibly disappeared out of the trailer. Granted, it wasn't tied down but it was heavy, it wasn't windy, I wasn't going fast and the roads weren't bumpy!
What a way to end Christmas Eve!!
Luckily, Nana & Poppy were staying at our house on Christmas Eve so we took the kids inside and got them to bed, unhooked the trailer and headed back down to Tullamarine to retrace our steps. As we were driving along the Calder Freeway there were cars and trucks on the other side that we thought for sure would have hit the bike or picked it up as a bonus to their Christmas stockings.
As it turned out, the bike must have flipped out, skidded along the road and come to rest in the right hand side emergency lane of the Freeway. It was still in it's box and had minute damage to it (ie. a scratch here or there that I couldn't even find, Rob had to show me where it was!) - how lucky was that?!
So, on Christmas morning Coops was thrilled to see his bike along with all the presents Santa had left!

Christmas lunch was at our house this year so we had a house full of people. Us, Nana, Poppy, Auntie Gill, Uncle Ray, Brianna, Bettina, Jordy, Oma & Opa.
We decided to do a baked ham again - always a winner and it didn't disappoint this Christmas either!! More presents were opened and everyone was happy!
It was a beautiful day so we sat outside for most of the time and we were also joined by our wonderful friends the Gray's and the Lawrence's... just in time for dessert.
We love spending time with family and close friends at Christmas time, it just makes it that extra bit special.
We hope all our families & friends had as wonderful a time as we did!!
