Given we're now in Winter we wanted to head north for some warmth so we chose Yarrawonga.
It was sunny and we had no rain but the days were still a little cool. That didn't stop Jorja & Lily from taking a very quick dip in the un-heated pool... no sense, no feeling!!
We explored the region a little and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the annual Rutherglen Winery Walkabout was on - BONUS!!
So we ventured to the Rutherglen to check out some wineries and the Rutherglen market and fair.
We couldn't camp within walking distance of Lake Mulwala without checking it out, so ventured off on a little walk to meet some of the locals.
At night we would have dinner and then put our version of s'mores together for desert... they were sticky, gooey and very yummy!!
It was a great first trip in our new van and as usual we had an awesome time with our camping buddies the Grays and the Wiliiams'.
Yarrawonga/Mulwala was kind to us with the weather, even if the nights did get very chilly - that's why the van has a heater!!
