JMK has been learning all about road safety at kinder for the last couple of weeks so what better place to go than to TRAFFIC SCHOOL!
Do you remember Traffic School, you know... the one in Essendon that we went to when we were in primary school... well it's still there!!!
At first the kids all sat down and listened to the Traffic School teacher... watching them work out their lefts from their rights was very funny! We were bound to have some major collision going by this alone.
After their talk they went for a walk around the Traffic School circuit just to get an understanding of all the different signs, lights and crossings. All the children listened very carefully and really paid attention.
Then... it was pedal to the metal time. The kids zoomed, chugged and meandered around the course and had an absolute ball.
The bikes needed refuelling at the petrol station... cheapest petrol I've seen in aaaages... a high five is all it cost!!
Of course after all that pedalling JMK and her friends needed to stop for a snack too!

It was a great day, the weather held off just long enough for us to really enjoy it. The kids had a fabulous time and I'm pleased / relieved to say that even though many didn't know their lefts from their rights, there was no major incident on the Traffic School Road!
