Lake Cairn Curran... 27 Dec 2010 to 2 Jan 2011

We didn't go to Echuca for our Christmas holidays this year because where we usually camp was all under water... so... we headed to Lake Cairn Curran instead.

The good thing about camping (even if it is in a caravan park) is the kids just don't care.  As long as they've got their bikes/scooters, some friends to play with and some water to splash around in they have an absolute ball!

While they're having a ball us grown ups get to sit back and relax too, well most of the time anyway!!

Yet again the pics are gonna be a little "CJK Heavy" as JMK just wasn't into getting on or behind the boat again this year... she'll have her year eventually.  CJK on the other hand was a dare devil yet again, jumping on the biscuit with Maddy & Uncle Adsy!

Even Rob got out behind the boat this year!  He tried (and blitzed) the knee-board... we were all very PROUD of him :)

There was plenty of kids to play with so the kids had a ball and even on New Years Eve when it was about 100 degrees we just headed back to the air conditioned van, nibbled on some M&Ms and did some colouring in... too easy.

The kids always have a fantastic time when we go camping... they (generally) behave and get along well with each other.  They're often there to help each other out too, when they fall off bikes or just need a helping hand getting from the boat to the bank...

As much as we all love camping, the relaxing atmosphere and the long warm days... it's always nice to get home to your king size bed, your own shower and loo!!
