Yesterday we headed to Lake Eppalock to visit the Gray's. As usual the weather was gorgeous up there in comparison to home so it was nice to sit around in the sun and just chat or read the paper. JMK & CJK went for spin behind the boat with Nathan on the biscuit but it was a little windy and rough, so the ride didn't last long before coming back to shore! Not to worry, they spent the rest of the day splashing around in the pool or playing at the park!
Today, we decided to head to Frankston!! WHY... I hear you ask. Well Sand Sculpting Australia has set up on the Frankston Waterfront and the theme this year was "Under the Sea".
We wondered through the sand sculpture exhibition which was really quite amazing. It wasn't very big but we had a really nice time.
After wandering through the exhibition JMK did some sand art of her own, CJK just wanted to sit down and have a rest so he didn't partake in this.
Once the art and craft was done we headed closer to the city and stopped for some lunch and an ice cream. It was a gorgeous day and it was lovely to spend it together as a family.
