Jorja had achieved a very important milestone on Saturday night... she completed her first Communion.
Many weeks of preparation at school and shopping trips for just the right shoes and hair accessories had been happening and finally the day was upon us.
It was actually a very busy day! Jorja had received a call back for netball reps so spent the morning running around the netball court. We then came home and got everything ready for dinner and then spent the next 40 minutes curling her hair.
Then it was time to get dressed...
Jorja was lucky enough to be making her Communion on the same night as one of her friends, Ava. They both looked gorgeous!!

The ceremony was lovely, Jorja was a part of the offering and had to take the wine up to the alter. I've never seen her so nervous in all my life. She was so worried about the wine wobbling and falling off the tray... I was more concerned about her stepping up onto the alter with it all and not tripping over!! She managed very well.

After the ceremony everyone came back to our house for dinner and a small celebration, it was a quiet affair and actually very nice.
