Better late than never!

So, we've already come to the conclusion that we won't be receiving Mother or Father of the Year this year.  Why?  Well we did head off on a fantastic trip to the USA knowing full well that we'd be missing CJK's birthday - BAD PARENTS!!

However, I do believe we have been forgiven and CJK didn't mind the wait for his birthday present!

After Uncle Mick & Auntie Prue gave him the pants I thought he might have twigged... but NO! Then, when Rob took him shopping to get the all important helmet... still nup!  The gloves and goggles didn't give it away either.  Not until we opened the shed door and showed him the motorbike did he realise he had gotten a motorbike for his birthday (albeit a week late!!... but like I said... better late than never!)

Needless to say he is very excited about his PeeWee 50 and will no doubt ride it EVERY DAY, especially with daylight savings about to hit.  He just needs to learn to concentrate a little more as he has already worked out that taking a hand off the bars to give the neighbour a 'thumbs up' can result in a fall from grace!  Can't be too cocky!!

Before we know it he'll be heading off with Dad on the boys dirt bike weekends!!
