Melbourne! What a city! - 21.12.16

Another jam packed day with the Nolan's.  Jorja, Cooper and I headed into the city by train to meet the Nolan's, Auntie Gill & Uncle Ray at ArtVo.

What an awesome place!!  It's an immersive gallery with over 100 3D artworks that you become a part of.  Here's just a few...

From ArtVo we headed out into the sunshine and made our way over to Southgate and the Crown Atrium to see the Christmas display.

From the Crown Atrium we headed to the Eureka Skydeck... 88 floors up!!  The day was perfect and the views were amazing.  Cooper, Jeff & Lauren even braved 'The Edge' experience.  This is where they get into a glass box that slides out past the building... too scary for me!!

Getting ready for THE EDGE experience

From here we headed into the city so Lauren and Viv could do a little shopping at the souvenir shops on Swanston street.  While they did that Auntie Gill, Uncle Ray, Coops & Jeff headed to the famous Young & Jacksons for a brewsky.  We joined them after the souvenir shopping was done!

It was getting close to dinner, so where better to go on a Wednesday evening than the Queen Victoria night market.  YUM!  A huge array of international dishes to choose from along with a wide selection of beers and really yummy sangria.

I think our tourists had a good day, they certainly got to see a fair bit of Melbourne!!
