What's a visit to Melbourne without taking in the Melbourne Zoo?!
It was a magnificent Melbourne Day, 26 degrees, so we decided to take our guests to the Melbourne Zoo.

Coops was in charge of the map so we followed his directions. He did a pretty good job and we got to see the vast majority of the zoo.
A few of the animals were still lazing around their enclosures but the monkeys were full of life and happy to interact.

The wombats were lazy, snoozing under ground. At lease we could see them through the glass. The platypus was pretty active though so it was good that our American visitors got to see some of our Aussie critters!

A great day had by all. With the heat and all the walking though we were happy to head home.
