CJK turns TWO!!

When did that happen, blink and you miss it!! I can't believe that CJK is a two year old now, my how time flies.

We started off the celebrations with a trip to the MCHN just to make sure CJK was tracking along nicely. I found out I have a strapping young lad who happens to be a very normal little boy (who'd have thought!) He is on the 50th percentile for his weight... the 75th percentile for his height and 90th percentile for his head circumference (lotsa brains in there!!). His fine and gross motor skills are in check and his language is plodding along. He's putting words together (you may not be able to understand but he is) to form small sentences and is developing very well... such a good boy!

Saturday 19th September, the day CJK entered our lives was pretty much spent getting ready for his party the next day! However, there was time for birthday presents to be opened!!

His big sister gave him some new battery operated trains, one Thomas and one Lady... which he loved.

Mummy & Daddy got him a Black & Decker tool bench which he seems to like quite a lot... I think we've got a "tradie" on our hands.

CJK was lucky enough to get a surprise visit from Auntie Kirsty on his special day too. She was able to pop in for muffins and tea for his birthday during her "fly by the seat of your pants" trip to Melbourne... thanks Auntie Kirsty!

After dinner we had some cupcakes to celebrate CJK turning 2 and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY... do you think he liked them? You know you're on a winner when there's cake UP the nose!!

Sunday 20th September we had a BBQ lunch/drinks with family and close friends to celebrate again. More presents and lots of fun was had.

And of course you can't have a party without all your friends gathering around the cake to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you!! Thanks Oma for the yummy chocolate cake!

Yet again the trampoline was a winner for CJK and his buddy Brodie and cuz Angus!!

Happy Birthday my beautiful boy... we've had such a wonderful time watching you grow and we're looking forward to the many years of growing ahead of you!

OH... and I took this one today because he was just looking oh so cute and handsome... don't you agree??
