Well there wasn't many opportunities to pull the camera out this weekend as it was cold, wet and miserable!! It pretty much rained from about an hour after we arrived until an hour before we left... but we all had a really good time!
It was the first time we took the "Franklin' on a trip so we were pretty excited... and boy did it beat tenting it! We had the split system working so we were definitely warm and cozy.
JMK & CJK had a truck load of friends to play with... there were the Sankey's, the Gray's, the Price's, the Nitz's and the Gentle's so there was plenty of bike riding, games room extravaganza's and of course jumping on the giant pillow!!
Yesterday morning we all braved the conditions and headed down to the beach for a look. It was freezing... windy... and downright miserable but yet again the kids had a great time... it seems nothing phases them which is just great!
We're looking forward to our next camping adventure... in MUCH BETTER WEATHER!!

Gone all soft...out of the tent!! Good job!! Looks way too cold to be anywhere but in front of the fire!
Looks freezing... lucky beaches are beautiful in all kinds of weather! You could not have got your Brisbane friend away from the split system... yes I am soft! I am sure it is the first of many wonderful trips with Franklin!!
