Jammin' with JMK...

Yesterday afternoon, while sitting in my favourite spot at home (couch under the back window where the afternoon sun comes flooding in) JMK approached me while kinda doing a ‘push/pull’ action with her arms. I’m sitting there thinking ‘what the…’ until she said ‘row row mummy… row row’.

Ahhhhhhh, the penny dropped and we jumped into a great rendition of ‘row row row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily merrily merrily merrily life is but a dream’.

But it didn’t stop there… JMK had quite a play list up her sleeve. We continued to sing and do the actions to ‘Baa Baa Black Sheep’… ‘Incy Wincy Spider’… ‘Ring a Rosie’… ‘Heads Shoulders Knees & Toes’… ‘Twinkle Little Star’…’Cows in the Meadow’… ‘Open Shut Them’… the list goes on!

I couldn’t believe the amount of songs and actions that she knew. You gotta love child care for that… don’t you?!
