It was an early start for us all, we were up at 5am to get everything organised, then JMK was woken at 6am, put into the car and we hit the road by 6.15am!! By the time we got to Riddells Creek JMK had drifted back to sleep which lasted until we hit the bumpy road going through Broadford!!
It was cold, wet and foggy but that didn’t deter us in the slightest. We drove through to 8.30am which saw us arrive at our first stop… Macca’s for brekkie. JMK had a bowl of corn flakes and a muesli bar while Mummy had hot cakes and Daddy (being Daddy) had the BIG BREAKFAST!
Back into the car at 9.03am and on to the second stop… Holbrook, where we arrived at 10.38am stretched our legs, had a bit of a run around and checked out the submarine.
Back into the car at 11.01am and on to the third stop… Yass for lunch! We arrived at 1.01pm and yeees it was Macca’s again. Piled back into the car at 2.08pm only to discover JMK had filled her britches so a quick nappy change and we were off again!
Arrival at Auntie Kirsty’s was 4.58pm… we had managed to miss the horrendous Sydney peak hour traffic and got to our destination in one piece. JMK was an absolute angel for the whole journey. She sat in the back like lady muck and played with all her new ‘road trip’ toys. She was such a good girl!!
